Q: What is the cost of participating in Education Without Walls?
A: The annual cost for a student to participate in Education Without Walls is $3,500. This fee covers one-on-one mentorship throughout the school year, five outdoor group outings (including multi-day backpacking trips), outdoor recreation gear needed for participation, transportation (if required), and all meals during expeditions.

Q: How are scholarship amounts determined?

A: Full scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:

A: Partial scholarships are based on household income and family size. The chart below shows the program cost for a family of two. For families larger than two, subtract an additional $350 per household member from ‘Your Cost” below:

A: Click the registration link on our homepage. Once you register (you’re almost there!), you will receive a confirmation email with program forms to complete.
