Q: What is the cost of participating in Education Without Walls?
A: The annual cost for a new student to participate is $2,750. The cost for a returning student is $4000. This fee covers one-on-one mentorship throughout the school year and outdoor adventures.

Q: How are scholarship amounts determined?
A: Full scholarships are awarded to students who meet the U.S. Federal Poverty Guidelines or who are in foster care.

Q: How do I know if I qualify for a full scholarship?
A: Full scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:

Q: How are partial scholarships determined?
A: Partial scholarships are based on household income and family size. The chart below shows the % off for a family with one child. An additional $350 is deducted per dependent.

Q: How is eligibility for a scholarship verified?
A: Eligibility is verified by reviewing financial records or documentation of other resources the family receives. Families interested in a scholarship should request a scholarship verification by contacting the Education Without Walls office by calling (910)-515-5197 or emailing info@EducationWithoutWalls.net

Q: What does the Education Without Walls scholarship cover?
A: The Education Without Walls scholarship covers some or all of the costs of:
· Weekly mentorship throughout the school year
· Outdoor adventures, including camping and backpacking trips.
· Outdoor gear required for participation
· Transportation (if needed)
· Meals during the expeditions

Q: How do I register?
A: Click and submit the Interest Form button on our homepage. Our office will contact you with in 48 hours (of receiving your form) to set up a new student interview. After the interview we will send a registration link with the program forms to be completed. Mentorship session will start once our we receive the completed program forms.
